Beautiful island with light blue water—an amazing spot for snorkeling and diving. There are no cars or motorcycles on the island, so you either walk, rent a bicycle, or take a horse-drawn carriage, which really adds to the island's charm.

Since setting foot here more than 10 years ago, I am always happy every time I return to this island. The vibe is really different compared to other places. So many special things about this place. Besides the sunset which is always spectacular and never fails, the pollution-free air really makes you comfortable. Hopefully it can continue to be maintained like that. Yesterday I saw several electric motorbikes/bikes. It's true that it doesn't emit polluting fumes, but it still feels odd. Maybe it's because you feel like there's a bit of a gap, whereas usually everyone just walks, rides a bicycle or rides a cidomo, a rather expensive vehicle. But even so, everyone mingled happily, smiling and greeting each other because everyone didn't feel any inequality on this island. Whatever country they come from, whatever social strata they come from, once they are here, they all become one, they become citizens of Gili T. Still hope that everything will remain like that in the future :)
