Great Falls Park is a colossal visual spectacle. The overlooks offer breathtaking views of the river's torrential flow crashing against the rocks. It's the perfect balance between the raw power of the water and the serenity of its wooded trails. A constantly changing landscape worth visiting any time of year. Ideal for hiking, taking incredible photos, and breathing fresh air.

Nice spot for a fun outing that does not require too much hiking. There is $20 per vehicle entrance fee, and there is ample parking onsite. You can enjoy views of the rapids down below from the overlooks which are just a short hike from the parking lot. There is a little Cafe under the Visitor Center where you can purchase ice cream and some fast food. We had vanilla soft serve ice cream which tasted pretty good at the end of our visit. We didn't try any food. The park is stroller and wheelchair-friendly for the most part; you may need to push them harder on some unpaved and slightly rocky pavement though, which is doable.
