This area stands out for its rugged natural rock formations, dense forests, and refreshing streams that delight nature lovers and hikers alike. The trailhead marks the beginning of a moderately challenging 4.5-mile loop trail that features an impressive natural rock arch—the highlight of the route—showcasing stunning sandstone geology shaped through millennia by erosion and water flow.

Editorial Assessment

Seven Hollows Trailhead offers a unique natural rock arch and a rewarding moderate hiking experience with scenic variety, but its regional rather than global recognition keeps it from reaching the highest ranks. It’s a well-loved spot for local and visiting hikers who enjoy rugged terrain and diverse natural features, though it does not yet attract the widespread international attention or geological uniqueness needed to be considered among the world’s top iconic natural landmarks.

Great intermediate trail for kids. We quickly return to the car to put the kids tricycle up because the trail was too rocky for it. It is a total of a 4-hour trip we only spent about an hour and a half we got to the fork and took a left. I was told that there was more to see if you went left. The waterfall is it the end of the trail to the left but we didn't make it that far. It is all downhill to start an uphill on the way back. Enjoy!
