Hemos titulado Kilimanjaro estos comentarios pero inexplicablemente el corrector lo ha cambiado en Kilimangiaro!! En el mes de Febrero 1979 subimos desde Marangu, pasando por Mandara, Horombo, Kibo y la ultima noche subida a la cumbre donde llegamos a las 6 de la mañana. Había nevado esa noche y hacía un poco de frio. Obviamente desde la cumbre la vista alcanza muy lejos sobre las llanuras del lado de Tanzania y del lado de Kenya. Una experiencia mistica, aunque las dificultades tecnicas son inexistentes y todo el recurrido es muy facil, exento de cualcuier peligro. El descenso es interesante, primero a traves de un paisaje lunar y luego la vegetación toma su protagonismo con especies vegetales unicas. Subimos 5 personas esos 3 dias aunque hoy en dia 47 años despues supongo que cientos de personas alcazan la cumbre y ya no creo que sea tan agradable estar rodeados siempre de esa muchedumbre. El Mundo ha cambiado y prefiero mil veces haber disfrutado entonces de casi todas las grandes y emblematicas montañas del Mundo, actualmente no me apetecería hacerlo como una bestia mas de esas manadas que asaltan todos los rincones bonitos de nuestro Planeta. Los jovenes ya no podran disfrutar como lo hicimos nosotros....
