One of the most stunning national parks in Finland. Extensive trail network, so it's worth planning your expenses well in advance (and taking a map with you). Conquering Yllästunturi in the summer along the maintenance roads was also a special experience, but the views were magnificent. On the Pallastunturi side, the peaks of Taivas and Palkaskero were an impressive experience! The Pallastunturi trails are conveniently accessible from Hotel Pallas, which also has good parking. The views from, for example, Taivaskero were incredible.
