A very good national park for both skiing and hiking. Ylläs has a lot of accommodation capacity and a good grocery store. You can also rent a comprehensive range of camping equipment from Ylläs. There are many camping homes and huts in the park, but Google won't let you add them to the map.

Nice park, with many paths. We were walking, and sometimes it was unclear where you were/were not allowed to walk (due to ski trails). With (cross country) skis or snowshoes you can go in all directions!

Unfortunately only one night because we were there with a travel company. The landscape is gorgeous from what I have seen and researched. The hotel is rustic and comfortably furnished... Wood everywhere...fur and nice little seating areas. The restaurant is very nice with a great view outside... The evening buffet was amazing... lovingly prepared... very good food and the service ladies were extremely friendly and adorable... The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and tasty... Very friendly at reception... The rooms are very simple but that's enough... It's a hiking and skiing area anyway... If I have the opportunity again, I'll definitely go back to the Pallas Hotel... Thanks for the service....
