Can be a bit expensive for non-residents and foreigners, but the park has done a great job in recent years improving litter pickup, guiding services, etc. Disposable water bottles are not allowed in the park, so plan accordingly

Beautiful park, clear route up the volcano. It was a beautiful and strenuous hike to the top, but the view was worth it. We did it in just under 4 hours. That is also the only thing you do here, the hike, and that is why I find the entrance fee too expensive ($50).

What a neat place. The trail up to the crater is steep and very dusty. If there is any wind, wearing a mask and sunglasses will help immensely. No animal sightings, but a variety of bird sounds
