It takes about 2 hours to travel from the Kyrgyzstan border checkpoint (International border Torugart.A365, Kyrgyzstan) to Tashrabat. Departing from Kas, China at 9 am I crossed the border and arrived in Tash Rabat at 18:00 PM. It took 9 hours. Tash Rabat Caravansaray It is located at 3,200m above sea level in Atvasi District, Narin Province, Kyrgyzstan, crossing the A365 Torugart Pass and Chatyr-Kul Lake. You have to take a rough road in the mountains for about 15km from the A365 road to get there. As the sun began to set towards Seosan, I quickened my pace and went to see the caravan Sarai. Tash Rabat Caravanserai has become a famous tourist destination because its stone buildings dating back to the 15th century are preserved in good condition. After passing through the narrow entrance, there is a large hall in the center, and there are 30 square rooms centered around the central hall. In the last room, there is a hole in the floor that appears to be a well. The central hall ceiling is covered with a dome that allows light to enter. It is surprising that the caravan Sarai built at the foot of the mountain has survived for over 600 years and remains close to its original form.

One of the only remaining structures of the ancient Silk Road, this caravanserai is certainly worth a visit, if only for the splendid place in which it is located, at 3,200 meters above sea level. Unfortunately the building was heavily restored in the Soviet era and has lost some of its charm, given the presence of concrete parts.
