This beach is closest downtown so it’s crowded. There are lots of places for food and drinks and lots of activities. The salty crab is the best for drinks

This beach is ok, basically the closest beach to the port in walkable distance. It has good food and service is rough - be ready to hustle for chairs and an umbrella, prices vary find the best one that can accommodate your pocket. In both instances that I have been there, I have had issues with the staff/people managing the chairs and umbrellas.

went a week before christmas 2024 , light crowds only 2 ships in port and 2nd was coming in while our family was at the beach . we did have a few people that constantly came over wanting to sell items but after a few minutes left us alone . water was clear . I did a walk tour to some nearby places for a few minutes we didnt want to be a viral "dock runner" trying to catch the boat
