Easy, well-maintained trail both for hikers and four-wheel divers, moisture and cool!

Took the pups for a hike up to Lost Lake and the experience was exceptional! It seemed odd a t first parking at the High School, but the local process for shuttle busses was really well done. Two pups and I headed to the trail without any issues. The hike itself was solid - aspen meadows to Sierra Desert to conifer rain forests to the lake. Not too busy and a trip we’ll make again.

Beautiful hiking area, but parking was difficult during our visit - it's better to arrive early or relatively late during peak season.
