Loved this part of City Park! It's kind of tucked away, but worth exploring. I'm not sure why there was yellow tape across various trails, but that was inconvenient. I book burnt this place and we'll go every time I visit in New Orleans.

Small forest in the heart of City Park with the highest elevation in New Orleans -not a mountain by any means. Fauna and nature are impressive. Beautiful place for a walking meditation or contemplative activity. Bring your bud spray!
