I was born at this hospital on January 18, 1995 and my mom worked as a registered nurse there postpartum at KP-5 and briefly KP-8 for 22 years. I have a lot of history with this hospital. Great facility.

Absolutely horrible !!!! I went there for the sole purpose of checking my pregnant to make sure that everything was processing well. My blood levels were fine, my cervix was closed , all the basics were fine. I saw a multiple team of professionals and they said my blood level was normal because I was bleeding very very little spotting. The gynecologist lady diagnosed me at first acting as I was fine then said miscarriage will start soon. But she created. She manually checked my vagina area with devices and it hurt so bad. She went deep up there and must have purposefully opened my cervix. Well right after I started to cramp and hours later I bleed heavily. She did it trying to make me miscarry when there was so real threat. Doctors do that a lot of narcissistic sinful doctors using medical problems to manipulate to their advantage to actually create the problems. That’s evil.

MOUNT SINAI THE WORST HOSPITAL IN NYC ! Your rights don't exist here i had the most traumatic and unprofessional treatment I received during my recent stay at Mount Sinai on Madison Avenue. My experience with the Orthopedic Surgery department was great and the surgery went well. After the surgery is when the horror begins! After my surgery, I experienced a situation where a female doctor initiated a "Rapid Response" in a highly dramatic and unnecessary manner. Despite being awake, alert, and having just finished breakfast, I was surrounded by over twenty doctors and subjected to aggressive medical procedures. When I expressed physical pain due to an IV placement, my concerns were ignored. Furthermore, I believe I was moved to the ICU against my will and without medical necessity, simply because I did not defer to the attending doctor’s ego. During this process, my patient rights were completely disregarded. I was: - Transferred to the ICU against my express wishes. - Re-injured my lower back surgery during a CT scan that I felt was unnecessary. - Stripped naked and told I needed to be "disinfected" under false pretenses. - Subjected to attempts to confiscate my phone, leaving me unable to communicate with anyone outside. - Told that surgery would be performed regardless of my consent. The "God complex" exhibited by the staff and the total disregard for my autonomy made me fear for my life. I felt like an experiment rather than a patient, and the lack of compassion shown—especially as I had no visitors at the time—is unacceptable. I expect a thorough investigation into these events and a formal apology for the physical and emotional distress caused by your staff. I hope to have any news outlet assist and take note especially with how these prices and medical expenses are so high. If you know of a news outlet that would do a story on this orand social media. These types of hospital needs to be exposed! NEW REVIEW FROM 09/01/2026 regarding the care and treatment I received during my recent stay at Mount Sinai for a follow-up surgery. While I continue to believe my neurosurgeon is one of the best in NYC, the overall conduct of the medical teams, physician assistants, and staff remains highly unprofessional and unempathetic. Prior to this procedure, I explicitly communicated the traumatic experience I endured during my previous stay in April 2026. I requested not to be assigned to the same medical team that previously violated my rights and stripped me under the guise of sanitization protocols, despite outside visitors being allowed in the same area shortly after. Regrettably, my concerns were entirely ignored. The team offered only excuses for their colleagues, failed to acknowledge my trauma, and acted deceptively to cover up these actions. Due to this continuous lack of respect for patient rights and basic empathy, I will not be returning to this hospital for any future care. I am currently seeking legal counsel to pursue a lawsuit regarding how I was treated.

Love this hospital, always kind and caring staff, that present themselves with exceptionalism and professionalism. Plus I was born here which is pretty cool.
