About This Adventure Destination

Twin Falls Trailhead in North Bend, Washington, offers an inviting gateway to stunning waterfall scenery just outside Seattle’s urban sprawl. Renowned for its spectacular twin waterfalls, this trail is a standout destination in the Snoqualmie Valley region, where lush forests meet the striking flow of the Snoqualmie River. The falls tumble dramatically over rocky cliffs, creating serene pools below that change with the seasons. Especially vibrant after rain, the water’s power and clarity make the area a favorite spot for nature lovers and photographers.

The trail begins gently along the riverbank, providing peaceful views of the flowing waters before climbing into a shaded forest full of towering firs and dense moss. Hikers are rewarded with three main vantage points: the Lower Twin Falls Viewpoint with benches perfect for resting; the Wooden Bridge Viewpoint, which draws visitors closer to the Upper Falls; and an Observation Deck offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Lower Falls from a cliffside perch accessible via stairs. These viewpoints reveal the unique geological features of the falls, with rugged cliffs carved by centuries of water flow and moss-covered boulders shaping the landscape.

This destination appeals to a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts—from families seeking a manageable hike with stunning rewards to solo adventurers eager for photo opportunities. The well-maintained trails and striking natural features make Twin Falls Trailhead a sought-after escape within the Puget Sound region, blending outdoor recreation with peaceful respite in the Pacific Northwest’s vibrant ecosystem.

Very nice waterfalls, but the lower falls viewpoint is closed. It's very easy, so if you want you can bring a child fine. If you want a better view of the lower falls, if you go to the river viewpoint and hike up the river you can get to a better spot to view it.
