Awesome little hill. Bummed we got there after the new snow had gotten soft and way sticky. The trees are perfectly trimmed so you can ski/ride anywhere! With lots of fun looking spots off Eagles nest and over behind me from the viewing deck The lodge has this old but clean mod charm to it. This place is endearing. It reminds me of Donner ski ranch with not much in terms of very but more than makes up for it with views and variety of terrain & charm. Also the fact that forest service & convicts supposedly help staff the place makes it a feel good to me skier soul. Oh and what are those state fair winning doughnuts ?? I’m definitely coming back to volunteer patrol!

You won’t find better views. You have a nice mix of open and gladed terrain, friendly staff. One list plus a rope to get access to a little higher on mountain.
