• Start:

  From the Honeybee Canyon trailhead, take the powerline road north for 0.7 miles to reach a cattle gate. Beyond the gate, look for the singletrack entrance 100 yards ahead on the right.

  After 1 mile, cross the powerline road and continue. For the Rail X Loop, take the singletrack splitting north about 0.7 miles after crossing the powerline road.

  Ride north for nearly 2 miles to Edwin Road. Take Edwin Road west; you can follow it 2.5 miles to the windmill or turn off after 1.5 miles for a singletrack detour. Options at the Windmill: 1. Follow the main trail for a mix of singletrack and doubletrack. 2. Take the left fork for more challenging, less-marked singletrack that eventually rejoins the main trail. After 2 miles, the trail intersects with a doubletrack. Stay left, then take another left at the fork to return to the Honeybee Canyon loop. At the four-way junction, turn right onto the singletrack.
