From the city, take the Inter-American Highway westward until you reach the town of Bejuco, Chame district. From there, continue in the direction of Sora. The last stretch of the road requires a 4x4 vehicle, especially in the rainy season. At Sora's Mini Super you can coordinate trips with local drivers who know the route well. The trail and the experience: The walk to the first two waterfalls is short, with an easy and well-defined route. If you decide to continue to other waterfalls higher up, the trail becomes more demanding, but there are ropes installed to provide support on inclined areas. Recommendations: Bring shoes with good grip, water and some food. The area has a cool and humid climate, so it is common to experience drizzle or drops in temperature, especially in the afternoon. Some dogs from the area usually accompany visitors on the tour. If you can, bring something for them.
