The most beautiful place on the whole planet. We went the same day from little Papigo. Total time 12 hours with two and a half hours stay at the lake. Including travel to and from Ioannina, approximately 14 hours. We decided this as the lodge was full and we had no camping gear. The climb from the shelter was relatively difficult but well worth it.

It's magic, it's worth it if someone makes the journey from the small Papigo, the fatigue will go away at the end when you look at the landscape, you are filled with positive energy, I was lucky enough to go in winter to a white landscape with the lake frozen and the surrounding mountains dressed in white , great experience.
