A solo return trip in September with time to enjoy the ridge. Glorious weather, 20+ degrees, and mid week so not too busy. A great walk, but please treat it with respect. There is a bypass path for those who don't like exposure.

In all honesty, even as an experienced climber, this was one hell of a challenge. If you have a fear of heights then it’s definitely not one for you, because even on the upper ridge or ‘steadier’ lower ridge there are large sheer drops either side, so please approach with caution and awareness. The Chimney at the far end of the ridge is again a challenge, you have to climb down approximately 9 metres of rock without clear steps, which gave me a few cuts and scrapes! It’s getting a full 5 stars though as, even though I do suffer with a fear of heights myself, it’s an incredible achievement. Just remember - approach with caution, whatever the weather.

Beautiful ridge. Fairly easy scramble. Just don't go on there on the weekends if you haven't gone scrambling before as it's more difficult when it's full of people on it.
