Driving Directions: From Winston-Salem, take US-52 N to NC-268 W toward Pinnacle (30 minutes). Follow signs to Pilot Mountain State Park’s summit parking.

Nice for a day trip. Not a lot to do but there are a few scenic spots on top of hill.
A mountain that if or if you are going to climb uphill... it is easy to access without many obstacles, but the route is tiring... closed forest with picturesque corners and areas where you can eat and sit
