An interesting route with beautiful views. It's best to wear sneakers or boots, as the trail isn't the easiest. Children under 10 should be able to get about halfway up the route; further down is too risky.

Nice trek. Was risky in some places but there’s guide ropes to help feel more secure. Well worth the journey, amazing view of sea and we were in shade most of the time as we went after 5 pm

Absolutely beautiful! But do not underestimate this trail, you need at least a decent condition. Also keep in mind to follow the right arrows on the path. We started with blue arrows and suddenly they were red, we went from hiking to almost rock climbing, we had a lot of fun but the red arrows are not for everyone. We also went later in the day and if you do that, keep in mind that when the sun sets it gets dark soon. We were prepared and had lights with us, but not everyone did that. Hiking this in the dark without a light can get dangerous.

Cape Aspro trail near Pissouri delivers some of the best coastal scenery in Cyprus, but it earns its “challenging” rating. Several stretches along the cliffs get narrow and slippery, especially where loose gravel meets exposed rock. There are sections steep enough that support ropes have been fixed to the trail to help hikers hold on and steady themselves. It keeps you alert, but that’s what makes it memorable. The reward is constant: sweeping Mediterranean panoramas, dramatic cliff drops, and turquoise water far below. Just come prepared with proper grip shoes (not flip flops or sandals), water and sun protection. Take the rope sections slowly, and avoid it after rain when the rock gets extra slick.
