Sailing Adventures in Placencia's Clear Waters

Fantastic Day fly fishing with Arthuro! There was a storm last night so not the best fishing conditions this AM. Arthuro was so professional and without prompting offered to switch to the next day instead but I only had today available to fish and really wanted to give it a shot. Hard work, especially for Arthuro as he took me to every nook and cranny hunting tarpon and snook. Gorgeous scenery navigating the mangroves. I only fish 1-2 times per year so my technique was a bit rusty but Arthuro humbly offered a few tips to readjust my style. Made huge improvements in a short amount of time. By early afternoon I caught a gorgeous snook 4+ lbs. I’ve been with other guides around the world and Arthuro is one that I will definitely come back to. Humble, professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Awesome day!

This is the most magical place in Placencia. Truly. The view is brilliant. The music tasteful. And the good is delicious. The owner/chef Caroline is like an old friend having serving you in her home, and the bar tender Heyson is a wonderful person, and makes a mean Dark & Stormy. I could not recommend this place more enthusiastically. Go for yourself!

What do you do when an epic celebration of life is needed? Where do you go when you want to share special moments with family and loved ones? Clear Water Exploring is THE place. Our host Caroline and Beat were all we had hoped for... gracious, accommodating, and a pleasure to share my 60th Birthday celebration with... quite simply they get "it". We were greeted with warm smiles, welcome aboard hugs, and champagne! They knew the Placencia peninsula like the back of their hand, and navigated us to prime pristine waters and islands. The onboard food service was world class with fresh fish (Snook), and a fresh salad that was local and amazing! Their assistant Hugo was a great deck hand and helped my son land 2 fish trolling off the back. ... and to top it all off, in the marina their two family dogs Tiny and Tigon greet you with wagging tails excited to see their masters and friends return... an AMAZING EXPERIENCE and a lifetime memory. In today's world of uncertainty, chaos, and health challenges it is so important to escape and celebrate all that is good in life. Clear Water Exploring is that escape and an adventure to remember. Caroline and Pete were the most fantastic hosts that we could have hoped for coming to Belize for our first time. From the amazing boat, service, and friendliness of everyone on board we celebrated a very special birthday with wonderful food that was cooked by Caroline and caught some great fish that we were able to take home from Hugo! This was truly a once in a lifetime experience and a major thanks to our captain beat hosting such a wonderful snorkel adventure to a island preserve and throughout the Cayes. We will certainly be back to visit soon and highly recommend them to anyone coming to the Placencia area. Looking forward to seeing their pups Tino and Tigon soon as well as everyone smiling faces. All around five stars thank you again so much!
