About 50 minutes from Potsdam, this is a solid local trail for a short hike. The climb is manageable for most ages, making it good for families. The highlight is the fire tower at the summit, which you can still climb for a great view of the surrounding Adirondacks. Simple, scenic, and worth the trip.
