Easy hike but sadly this place is crowded. Too many Ebikes. I would only make it a hiking trails. It looks like a freeway. Ebikers come down fast leaving trails of dirt behind them and honking if you don’t get out of their way fast. This is ridiculous when you are trying to enjoying a peaceful hike to this majestic glacier.(see second picture)

What an experience, the glacier's tongue reaches very low. It's an interesting experience to see the ice in midsummer against the backdrop of green forests.

A magnificent place visible at the end of a trek starting from the train station. The first part of the trek (about 2.5 km) is very easy, but it doesn't lead to the glacier tongue, which can be reached by crossing the small bridge at the end of the trail and continuing along a marked path through the rocks (for about another km). A beautiful experience, surreal landscapes in the height of summer.
