West Strand Beach is an appealing coastal destination for its natural beauty and recreational opportunities. While it offers significant charm and activities, it lacks the unique geological formations needed for a higher natural landmark rating. It's an excellent spot for water sports and coastal relaxation within its region.

We had locals tour us around this lovely little point. It is a place that you could easily kill a day or a weekend. The beach was lovely. The water was cold, but on a warm day felt pleasant. There’s a ramp down to it and they do have similar chairs to the one pictured for rent. There’s tons of different food options around, pizza and ice cream, fish and chips to name a few. There is an arcade with some old-fashioned style arcade games and a couple boardwalk style rides, a skate park and generally just tons of stuff to do for kids and adults of all ages. There are multiple wheelchair accessible paths, and there is blue badge parking available, but you do have to have the UK blue badge which if you’re a non-UK visitor yours will not work heads up. And the accessible toilets are locked, so if you’re not from the UK/don’t have a radar key you’ll either have to find a staff member to give you access or use a non-accessible toilet. 10 out of 10 can’t wait to go again.
