This park was like a piece of heaven on earth! The trail to the top of the hill was breathtaking! I believe it was 250ft above sea level to where you could see downtown Raleigh, part of Wake Forest and Knightdale and of course Raleigh. Very relaxing! It was a hot hike up but so well worth it! We now go often! Plenty of greenery, hills, and landscape! There is also a playground for the kiddos to enjoy. The land is huge and a great place to go and just get away and clear your mind!

It has a really beautiful view. Not a lot of people visit so make sure you go with someone rather than alone 😂
