Magical place, busy in daytime with hikers but so big the you can allways enjoy nature alone.

Very beautiful national park. But some of the hiking trails are tough. But it's worth hiking to the Slåttdalsskrevan rock crevice and the viewpoints above.

A really beautiful national park where you can learn a lot about the history of the earth. We first did the hike up the mountain and then the path on the coast where you can see the elevation. Highly recommended tour. Ample parking available at the marina.

We entered at 9.30 at the South Entrance with two children aged 8 and 10, each carrying a backpack. Went up Slåttdalsberget - had lunch with a beautiful view, then continued to Slåttdalsskrevan and then to Tärnättvatnet where we swam and had coffee. Then continued to Tärnnättholmarna, but as we were all tired we passed them and stopped and swam again at Näskebodarna. Shortly after Källsviken, we took the blue trail up to the right so that we came back to the span that went towards the south entrance. It was a bit of a struggle uphill for a short while there before we got to the span, but easier to go that way than to continue forward past the inner bay - then it's a long dirt road that goes steeply uphill just to the car park. Went super well with many coffee breaks. Had candy, nuts, bars, pizza buns, pancakes, party ices, 6 bottles of water, three of which we put in resorb. Took 9 hours for us, but then, as I said, we took breaks often.
