While it has been over a year since I attempted to visit this marina, at that time, which was during the winter, the entrance to the marina was silted up to the point it was only 3.5 ft deep! There are no repair facilities, the restrooms are in bad shape, no store, the restaurant mentioned in some of the reviews is no longer open due to septic tank issues. The owner is trying to sell the marina. Last year, all the uncovered slips were removed. In summary, if you are a sailor, you are out of luck here.

The good: Its a great place to launch a boat. Lots of wide space to maneuver and turn around, etc. Great views of the river. The bad: Its a shame the restaurant closed down. There are safety hazards everywhere, particularly the boardwalks and dock areas. Sections are broken through and its a serious injury waiting to happen. Would still return to launch a boat or just take in the scenery. Hopefully they could fix the place back up someday.
