A beautiful summit. The climb is steep and efficient. The view of the fjords is magnificent. Continue to the main summit to discover the unobstructed view of the fjord to the north.

Very nice views from the top and the higher parts of the mountain when the weather is good. The hike is somewhat technical and can be slippery when it’s wet. There are actually three summits. Getting from the second to the third involves some scary traversing and climbing, at least if you’re afraid of heights.

The distance is 3 kilometers. Be prepared for the short but steep Orungsak. The scenery is absolutely stunning.

I didn’t think this hike was going to be that bad, but I was humbled very quickly. I definitely recommend hiking boots because it gets muddy after the halfway point and coming down can be tricky. I’d say I’m relatively fit and experienced, but took me 2.5 hours to go up and 2 hours to go down. I would have stayed at the summit longer, but the fog at the top kept going in and out. What’s crazy is that there were a good amount of kids on this trail, so it’s not completely impossible to climb!
