It's a wonderful experience; the river water is freezing cold, and the horseback ride was an adventure. I highly recommend it.

Limón Waterfall is beautiful... but I bought a package to see Limón Waterfall that included horseback riding... I would have walked, honestly, it was unbelievable how awful it was... they send someone with you who leads the horse and that person keeps harassing you, demanding money... if you tip them, they say, "What you gave me is nothing... I live off tips..." I really doubt I ride the horses just for tips." First, they say the horse is theirs, then that it belongs to the company and they don't pay them... "You can give me whatever you want, I can't force you... but what you gave me is nothing..." They say this with the most brazen attitude I've ever seen... they think we're all millionaires... that just because we're going to see another place we don't save up every penny to be able to travel... they think money falls from the sky while we bust our asses to earn it... in the end, on the bus, everyone who went on the excursion agreed that we had a terrible time because of these people who treat you this way... Some Spaniards were scammed out of up to 40 euros and were still told, "This is nothing!" 🤣 They're shameless con artists... and when you get off the horse, they chase you down for more money... My recommendation is to take the walk... it only costs 100 Dominican pesos... and don't give your money away to these ungrateful people who think you can just sit on the toilet and make money right there.
