Yes, always on private property. Used to go there in the 70's. The reason it closed to the public is due to tourists and/or trashy people.

Edge Falls has always been on private property. The previous owners would let you pay an entrance fee for the day. When the sold the property, the new owners stopped letting people on the property. That was in 1970, over 56 years ago. You can see the falls from the road, but it's doubtful it will have water
