Situated on the southern end of Mission Bay, Crown Cove is a lesser-known gem offering consistent wind conditions and fewer crowds. It is perfect for intermediate windsurfers looking to refine their skills. Amenities here include picnic tables, a tranquil beach area, and nearby restrooms, ensuring a comfortable experience on and off the water.

Known for its open spaces and serene beaches, Fiesta Island is a favorite among local windsurfers. The island’s geography helps create reliable wind patterns in its eastern and southern bayside areas. Visitors can also park directly adjacent to the water, making setup quick and easy. The expansive space is ideal for skill-building and experimenting with advanced tricks.

Mission Bay is a man-made saltwater lagoon spanning over 4,000 acres, featuring 27 miles of shoreline. Originally developed in the 1940s, it has since become a recreation hub. It’s less crowded during weekdays, and wind conditions are generally optimal in the early afternoon.
