Discover Coiba Island: A Tropical Paradise

If you enjoy marine life in its natural habitat, Coiba National Park is a must-see.

Excellent place, highly recommended to visit

Go on a boat trip here one day when you're in Santa Catalina! The water is as beautiful and blue as can be, especially next to the palm trees and all the greenery! There are coral reefs where you can see dolphins, sharks and turtles!

One of the best experiences you can have, without a doubt an adventure you must live. You'll find so much marine life; you're on another planet. If you dive into the sea, it will teach you more about Panama and its hidden treasures.

Hands down the best snorkeling / diving in Panama. The coral here looked healthy and there was a ton of marine life - turtles, white tip sharks, parrot fish, puffer fish, schools of eagle rays. I visited San Blas and Bocas where the reefs were not in good shape but fortunately Coiba was fantastic and did not disappoint. Visibility was not the best - around 25-35 ft when I went, which is normal for the Pacific waters. My only hope is that they maintain and protect the reefs as they are extremely fragile and don't stand up well to tourism without strict protocols.
