Colombia, how I love you. Tayrona National Natural Park is one of Colombia's most important ecological reserves, located about 34 kilometers from Santa Marta, in the department of Magdalena, where the rainforest of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta meets the Caribbean Sea. It's a 45-50 minute drive or bus ride from Santa Marta. It's beautiful, and you have to endure the heat, but it's highly recommended.
