one of the most preserved and well taken care of park in the heart of Florida. No matter if you go for a day hike, ride your bicycle or stay a few days camping (highly recommended!), this one of the best place in the state!!!

A bit remote, but well worth the trip. With luck, you might spot alligators from the car, and the walk to the river mouth is definitely worthwhile once you reach the boat landing. There you'll suddenly find yourself standing next to countless alligators. Many birds can also be observed.
