We went on a canoe trip and a jeep safari with the kids. Both were special experiences, so I recommend them. Unfortunately, we were maybe not at the best time in terms of observing animals, but that's how it is in the natural environment. You need luck, and the time is also important. The canoe trip is very quiet and peaceful, but for those of us who can't paddle, it was a bit of a struggle. The environment made up for everything. It was great to swing or just glide on the water. We had a very nice guide, who also provided us with information and encouraging words. The jeep safari in Hany showed us a completely different side of the landscape than what we saw on the canoe trip. We started at an exhibition, where we got to know the flora and fauna of the area. We traveled the hidden paths of the nature reserve by jeep, saw many waterfowl and buffaloes. The latter was the highlight of the trip for me. Even a fox showed itself, so there was no shortage of excitement. I recommend both programs, depending on your physical fitness and desire for adventure.

I visited the National Park because of an injured blackbird chick. The young man who greeted me was very kind and I learned a lot about thrushes and birds in general. He took the injured little one in and did not refuse the opportunity to ask about his condition later. I hope he will be able to provide good news. 🙂
