It was a great educational trip for the kids. They learn the importance of protecting the forest for the animals and us humans as well.

Great Visitor Center, part of the Corozal Sustainable Future Initiative. CSFI - World Land Trust is a Belizean, not-for-profit NGO dedicated to the management, protection, and conservation of important national protected areas in north-eastern Belize. While visiting the Center grounds we saw orioles, trogons, masked tityra, woodpeckers, and many others. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, there is a butterfly conservatory in site, and a tower offering panoramic views of the preserve Highly recommended.

The butterfly house is open today with blue morphos and other species. Magical. The observation tower is also a great experience. The trail is fun if you have long sleeves for the mosquitoes.
