You'll need to get advance tickets as space is extremely limited for each touring group. Restrictions are in place for open visiting due to the petroglyphs and preserving all of the archeology. If You're looking for something away from busy Sedona and all the crowds, then this is it . Plenty of hiking trails nearby.

Wonderful experience. The docents were amazing. We didn't think we needed/wanted a guided tour, but they were so informative and they gave us a foundation to use when we explored other areas on our own.

A must see near Sedona. This heritage site is well maintained and the park rangers and volunteers are very knowledgeable. Learning about the saguan tribe was magnificent. A magical place. There was no wait and very few visitors, we got a VIP experience. Worth the drive.

It's slightly hard to believe you can actually go here. It's harder to believe you can go to a place like this in the continental USA. It's even more astonishing that other people have been in this place since the last great Ice Age. I've been all over the world, and the Palatki site has basically been in my back yard. It is relatively easy to get to, the Park Ranger staff were absolutely awesome, fun, and immensely knowledgeable. My 12yr daughter and 16yr son absolutely loved it.
