Dune 45 offered us a breathtaking view, just like dune 40, and yet it was much easier to climb. I highly recommend the sunset there is magnificent

Super beautiful landscape. Once you have climbed about 1.5 km up the dune, you can enjoy a really great view with a Mars-like backdrop!

Great dune, you can climb it in 30 minutes with photo breaks. We were there at 9am. The temperature was 19 degrees (beginning of April). Don't take the panic of being there very early too seriously. Witnessing the sunrise on the dune can only be done by staying overnight in the park. Park opens at sunrise. Costs 150 NAD per person, 50 NAD for the car. You can also go up barefoot at this time. There are rest areas in the shade below. You should visit and hike while you're there!! :)
