It's just ok. The runs are long, but you don't go very fast, compared to other places we've been. It's nice there are several runs in a row, but it's a gradual slope down. Like a bunny hill and green level for tubing.
We took our family snow tubing for the first time over the weekend. Every session was sold out, but for the most part the wait times were minimal. We interacted with staff very little as not much was required. We looked to them for the “go ahead”when it was safe to slide, but not much more than that was needed. Unfortunately, our interactions with staff weren’t all positive. When your ride is over, you need to clear the bottom as quick as possible which is understandable but being herded out with staff constantly yelling to clear the bottom is unnecessary. We only experienced this on one slope which unfortunately was also our favorite but we did not go back to that one because of the man and woman managing the bottom of it. I was trying to help my 4 year old with her tube (we slid down tethered together) and his words to me were, “you can’t wait on anyone you need to clear the slope,” I’m sorry, I’m not waiting on anyone, I’m trying to assist my child who fell out at the bottom, get her tube so we can clear the slope. We were following another family as we cleared the slope, and it’s not like we could pass them, the staff continued to yell for everyone to hurry. I guess the expectation is to run. My husband and oldest daughter had the very same experience when they came down behind us. Not such a family friendly experience.
