Biking the Seward Highway from Seward to Moose Pass

Located in the heart of Seward, this park is a fantastic starting point. The flat trail along Resurrection Bay offers a mellow warm-up before tackling the highway’s inclines.

Stop here to admire spectacular water vistas and chances to spot bald eagles or even sea otters.

Restrooms, parking, and nearby convenience stores make it ideal for ensuring all your logistical needs are covered. 2. Dividends of Bear Creek

About 7 miles in, pause at Bear Creek. Known for its small, pristine waterway surrounded by towering evergreens, it’s an ideal spot for a quick photo break.

This area transitions from flat terrain to rolling hills, a sweet challenge for more advanced riders. 3. Crown Jewel: Tern Lake Junction

Near the junction where the highway meets the Sterling Highway lies Tern Lake. The serene alpine lake is perfect for a mid-ride stop to refuel while absorbing reflections of towering peaks.

Trails nearby can be explored on foot if you need a break from pedaling.
