I can't believe I've never heard of this place, because the views, cliff line, and waterfalls were incredible. I'm sure the experience is different on the weekend, and when there are a lot of ATVs around. I ran the perimeter trail and it was as good as I could ask for. There were a lot of downed trees, but the trail was fairly easy to follow and the scenery kept me wanting to move forward.

I drive by this so call State Park daily on Hy 156/Sewanee There is a ancient log cabin, several out buildings, and a two story house with a rather large tree limb on the roof, ouch major roof structural damage. It's a state building, tear it down. It's a eye sore,

This place is an attraction for anyone with outdoors interests. It has lakes for fishing, trails for hiking and biking and has a few nice waterfalls. They close the roads for the winter to vehicles (not sure what date) but they remain available to foot traffic.
