The locals are so friendly and it's amazing to go scuba diving there. There are so many tropical fish and the dragon fruit milkshake they make are fresh and delicious. The sand is white, the ocean is warm, and the clothes they sell are beautiful. I'm planing to take my mother there soon and I know she will love it.

Overall, we really enjoyed Koh Rong, and our stay was definitely worthwhile. The island has its own unique charm and, despite increasing tourism, still retains much of its typical Cambodian flair. The people were mostly friendly and helpful, although, as is typical on tourist islands, there are significant price differences in some areas. Food, drinks, and other services can be surprisingly expensive, especially when compared to the Cambodian mainland. Nevertheless, the island has a lot to offer: beautiful beaches, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to simply unwind for a few days. The combination of nature, the sea, and the island's somewhat unspoiled character makes it particularly appealing. Of course, you shouldn't expect a perfectly organized holiday island. In some places, you can tell that tourism is still developing and things aren't quite as you might be used to in other holiday destinations. But that's precisely part of Koh Rong's charm. Overall, we had a great time and would say: Koh Rong is definitely worth a visit and was certainly worth it for us.
