This elegant dam, stretching across the Marina Channel, creates a freshwater reservoir and offers breathtaking views of the city skyline, Gardens by the Bay, and the Singapore Flyer. The structure itself is a testament to Singapore’s commitment to sustainable urban living, providing a host of leisure opportunities in an inviting environment.

What truly sets Marina Barrage apart is its multifunctional charm. It serves as a convergence of water supply, flood control, and recreation, all while being a green oasis in an urban setting. Visitors can enjoy picnics on the expansive Green Roof, where the vibrant cityscape meets lush greenery. The gentle coastal breezes and panoramic vistas make it a top spot for flying kites, while the waterfront setting provides an ideal backdrop for leisurely strolls.

Rich in both ecological and cultural significance, Marina Barrage is a key attraction for its innovative design and thriving biodiversity. The colorful flora and occasional sightings of migratory birds offer a delightful visual treat. Marina Barrage is a remarkable blend of engineering and nature, offering a variety of outdoor activities amidst a city backdrop. While it provides a unique recreational setting, it is less iconic on a global natural scale due to its man-made origins.

Great place to walk around. Excellent places to walk all around. Whether as a couple, a family or with your furkids. Great way to spend some time together here. Good views of the entire bay, including sports hub, gardens by the bay. Do bring sun block if you're going during noon time as the sun is strong
