Quite an interesting place. The cave is located in the picturesque Matka Canyon and is considered one of the deepest underwater caves in Europe and the world. The depth of the cave reaches 230 meters, which currently makes it the deepest underwater cave in the Balkans and the second deepest in Europe. The cave is a system of two caves, one above (called Vrelo), and the second underwater (called Podverlo) and a lake. You can see bats in the cave. A boat transfer is organized to the cave, the journey takes about 20 minutes along a picturesque route. The boat stops on a specially made platform from which you need to climb up to the entrance to the cave.

We visited the cave by boat along the canyon itself. A well-maintained and clean place, about 30m tourist route, easily accessible and completely safe.
