Fantastic spot to rent a kayak. A double kayak was going for $55 when we visited. 1 hour time limit, but that’s more than enough to kayak to the island, get out, and explore the island a bit before getting back into the kayak. The staff do an excellent job of explaining safe ways to get in and out of the kayak without flipping it over

We enjoyed our rental! We hiked down and spent an hour on the water in two double kayaks. Had enough time to kayak to the tea room, climb to the top and then explore some more on the water. You will get wet loading and unloading so dress accordingly (esp with shoes). You can safely leave your items at the rental table while you’re gone or rent a dry bag with the kayak.
