Beautiful and peaceful. I came to eat my picnic lunch. There were many bees and singing birds. There's even the miniature free library station and I selected a book on wintering birds. I'll bring a book next time to contribute.

Our little gem is best in the Fall! Back to Bent of the River today, Aug 1st. A rather warm and humid day but the foliage offered enough relief. Met two people with cow bells saying that there are bears in the preserve, although they never met them. I can say that fortunately I did not either!
