A hidden treasure. Little Scramble in the beginning and easy going trail. Not perfectly marked but will find the way to the fall amazing views on the way up.

Absolutely breathtaking views! The hike is moderate, fairly long, and includes some steep sections, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. We went as a family, and it was a little challenging for our 10-year-old kids, but they made it to the top! The stunning scenery made every step worth it. If you enjoy nature and don't mind a bit of a challenge, this hike is definitely worth doing.

An absolute powerhouse of a waterfall! If you are looking for a challenging but rewarding hike that is a bit quieter than others in the area, Crooked Falls is it. I hiked this recently and had a fantastic, serene experience. 🥾 Trail Conditions & Difficulty The Climb: Be prepared—you feel like you are constantly climbing. It is a sustained uphill battle that will give your knees a serious workout both going up and coming down. Terrain: Very rugged in sections. You will be stepping over a lot of roots and rocks, and there are multiple scrambly sections where you will need to use your hands for balance. Navigation: The trail is generally well-marked and easy to follow. HOWEVER, be careful on the way down. There is a detour that is easy to take by mistake. I accidentally took it and only realized my error when I noticed I was hiking uphill again! Keep your eyes on the markers on your descent. 🎒 Essential Gear Footwear: Do NOT wear sandals or flimsy sneakers. Proper hiking boots or trail shoes with good grip are a must to protect your ankles and knees on the rocks and roots. 🌊 The Payoff The Viewpoints: The actual viewing platforms/areas are a bit smaller than expected, but the view is absolutely worth it. The Waterfall: The falls are massive, incredibly powerful, and there is plenty of rushing water. It’s an amazing spot to take in nature's force. Crowd Factor: I got lucky and it was not busy at all. I only passed two parties on the way up, and absolutely nobody on the way down.
