From early spring to late autumn, wonderful tours and castle visits are possible in the Zemplén Mountains. I recommend it wholeheartedly, with beautiful views you can return home richer in experiences.

We had a great bike tour through Zempleni, crossing into Slovakia also. Some uphill parts but followed by fantastic downhill sections, plenty of mud, forest roads, wilderness. A tour to repeat!
