Great trail climbing over huge boulders. Very enjoyable hike.

The two-mile round trip Ice Glen Trail is a great experience for climbing boulders, but visitors must take care when navigating the rocky, often slippery trail.

Amazing trail and place to go just to clear you're head and get some exercise at the same time definitely will make sure I bring water next time for sure 🤣🙌🏾❤️

My wife and I drove around Stockbridge, MA today and happened upon a unique trail, Ice Glen Trail. It was a delightful day and we thoroughly enjoyed the hike along with our lab Greta. We couldn't have asked for a better fall day. The sun was out and the weather was great!

The Ice Glen Trail is a unique hike in the Berkshires. The trail through Ice Glen winds around and over large moss covered boulders. There are numerous small caves and crevices along the trail. In some spots wooden bridges help you along. It is possible to see ice along shady areas well into the late spring. Although the trail is only .2 miles long it does take some time to complete. The trail is often damp and wet, so it is a good idea to wear hiking boots and bring trekking poles. Watch your footing as well. The Ice Glen Trail connects the Laura's Tower trail and the Mary V Flynn Trail. If you're parking on Ice Glen Road the parking lot is small and has room for about five vehicles. You will also walk up a private driveway, which has a sign at the end marking where the Ice Glen Trail starts. Parking here is quickest and most direct way to the Ice Glen. The trail is fairly well marked and there is a picnic spot near the beginning of the trail. You should find this to be a unique and enchanting short hike. Give it a try!
