Beautiful place and the Beer Tavern is so nice!

Raced here in my college years and it was always one of my fave places in the area- still boasts a ton of well-groomed trails with all kinds of terrain.

The cross country skiing here is topnotch. I won't go anywhere else in Central Vermont. This is my 4th or 5th year as a passholder. Last year (2022) I got a pass to Bolton's XC because it's 7 minutes closer to my house and I thought I'd go more often. You know what? Bolton couldn't care less about their XC area and it shows. I didn't go enough to even pay off my pass. So, I'm back at Trapp this year and SO happy about it! Trails are groomed early and often. Even on a crowded day, once you're 5 or 10 minutes out from the lodge, you're likely to find yourself alone or passing just a couple of other people. The trails are wonderfully varied in topography, length, and difficulty to make regular visits interesting and different each time. Thank you to all the people involved in the XC operation!!

My friends and I came to see the Highland Cows and honestly felt a little let down. The walk there is about a mile downhill, and it’s really just a lecture while you see some cows from a shorter distance than if you were to drive by. Farmer Poach was an incredible and interesting speaker, but I don’t think it’s an experience I would do again. Thank you Farmer Poach for your incredible expertise!

Beautiful. Beautiful location with grand views. We had an amazing lunch. The host, Tim, was lovely, kind, and helpful. Our waitress was great, and the service was excellent. The only bummer was the other waitress was not having a good day and made sure everyone, co- workers and guests knew it.
